Intials on the back cover, "A.G.G.H.A.E.F." (Adjutant General; General Headquarters, American Expeditionary Force) Inside, Edward F. McFadden is listed as a Captain with the 348th Inf. His birthdate: Dec. 30, 1893. Person to be notified in case of emergency: Mrs. Mary S. Gillespie in Hope, AR.
