DescriptionBadge from the Confederate 6th Arkansas Volunteer Infantry. The Sixth Arkansas Infantry served in the Confederate army from 1861 until its surrender in 1865.Three tiered ladder badge with hanging shield-shaped medallion. On the top rung: "Co. K". On the second rung: "6". On the third rung: "Arkansas". On the hanging medallion: "Vol./Inf./C.S.A." With the badge is a ribbon with description handwritten in pencil: "Co. K/6th Ark./1st Brig."
