DescriptionPromotional poster distributed by the Lionel Train Company to promote the debut of the television special "Ridin' the Rails," starring Arkansas native Johnny Cash.

Johnny Cash was born John R. Cash on February 26, 1932, in Kingsland, Arkansas, and raised in Dyess, Arkansas. Nicknamed “The Man in Black," Cash was a singer/songwriter, actor, and author (writing two autobiographies). He acted in both movies and television (including his own variety show, "The Johnny Cash Show"). Cash died September 12, 2003.

Original 1970s poster features an image of Cash playing the guitar. The poster is signed by Cash in black ink above his right shoulder. The poster is framed in a wide black frame. The poster has blanks at the top for channel, date, and time of the show.
