DescriptionWorld War I era scrapbook compiled by Arkansan Margaret Weber Dews, mother of World War I soldier Charlie Dews. The scrapbook has a brown cover and is tied together with string and contains black pages.The Dews were from Arkadelphia. Inside the scrapbook are photographs, postcards, envelopes, letters, poetry (one poem written by Dew's sweetheart), newspaper articles, French francs, military orders, business cards from French restaurants and businesses, a French map, and more. One letter is from the King of England, welcoming the American troops and thanking them for their service.
