Charlie Rich (1932-1995), born Charles Rich, was a Grammy Award winning country music singer and musician born in Colt, Arkansas and raised in Benton, Arkansas. He was known for his eclectic-style of music that was hard to classify into any specific genre and produced popular hits such as “Behind Closed Doors” and “The Most Beautiful Girl”. Rich died July 25, 1995.
