B. Lace runner with blue and gold embroidered ribbon and hearts. Blue silk ribbon fed through lace and tied in bows at corners. Pleated edges and lace trim.
The boudoir set belonged to Anne Wade Roark Brough, the twenty-fifth First Lady of Arkansas from 1917-1921. During World War I, Anne served as an active Chairman for the Woman’s Auxiliary of State Council of Defense, the Red Cross's supply- making sessions and Liberty and Victory Loans. Anne also made appearances at Suffragette Rallies in support of the right for woman to vote in the United States.
