    DescriptionTwo matching military epaulets, one each for the left and right shoulders. The epaulets consist of silver bands in a rectangular shape with rounded ends. Inset are three silver bars flanked by gold metal starburst pins. The right epaulet is missing one of the gold pins.

    George Edward Fisher was born on April 8, 1923 near Searcy, Arkansas. Fisher was a political cartoonist whose work influenced and helped define Arkansas politics for a generation. In 1943, he was called to active duty with the Army Reserves. Fisher passed away on December 15, 2003 of a heart attack at his drawing board in his Little Rock home.
