Description1911 U.S.C.V. Reunion Postcard. In the top right corner of the postcard: "Greeting to U.S.C.V. May 15-16 1911". In an arrangement of red roses, "City of Roses" is in the bottom left corner with an image of a veteran adding roses to the arrangement. Images of Confederate flags in top, left corner. In the center: "No heritage greater than to share in the fame. Of the deeds that were done in our brave father's name. No duty so sacred as the vigil we are keeping O'er the graves where the fallen so softly are sleeping. No pleasure so sweet as the joy in the giving of praise that is due to our sires that are living. -O.P. Findley." The reverse of the postcard is blank. At the top, "OFFICIAL SOUVENIR/(Authorized by Executive Committee/U.C.V. Reunion, Little Rock, 1911.)"
