    DescriptionBlack and white photograph portrait of Judge W.J. Waggoner (William Jason) Circuit judge 1927-1968. Written on back in pencil "Judge Wm. J. Waggoner".

    Waggoner was born in 1889 in Lonoke, Arkansas. Married to granddaughter of Judge H.T. Bradford. He graduated from law school at the University of Arkansas and served in the state legislature in 1915 and 1917. He served in the Army during World War I and was injured during battle at Argonne.


    H.T. Bradford was born November 23, 1848 in Georgia. Married to Martha Jane Wilson. He had a varied career. He served as a judge for Lonoke County and on the Lonoke County Pension board as well as on the local school board. He was also editor for the Lonoke Democrat. He later served as Arkansas Commissioner of Mines and Agriculture. He was a member of the Historical Comittee of Arkansas and a Mason. Bradford died June 4, 1918. He is buried in Hicks Cemetery in Lonoke, Arkansas.
