    Wayne Raney (August 17, 1921 - January 23, 1993) was an American country singer originally from Wolf Bayou, Arkansas. After learning to play harmonica and spending time in Mexico, Raney worked in syndicated radio. Raney has played at the Grand Ole Opry and worked as a DJ, record producer, and label owner, starting Rimrock Records. Wayne Raney died in January of 1993.
