DescriptionPhotograph of Captain Larry Fletcher and "the new hat" for the Arkansas State Police in 1969. Larry Fletcher was the first Commander of the "L" Troop which was created in 1977. He is wearing the western style hat instead of the former "Smoky Bear" hat. This hat was only approved by the Department for one year then they went back to the Smoky Hat.Status
