    DescriptionBracelet made from hair of Clara Krause. The bracelet is composed of brown hair intricately woven, braided, and formed to create a strap with mesh-like trim. Joining the two ends of the bracelet is a metal ornament with a small daguerreotype of a young woman. The gold finish has rubbed off the metal in many places.

    Clara died in 1866 at age 17. One of two bracelets with daguerreotypes of Clara.
