DescriptionIndictment against I.V. Hill for first degree murder from the State of Arkansas. The indictment reads as follows:

Did unlawfully, wilfully, feloniously and of his malice aforethought and premeditation and deliberation kill and murder one Hulen Owens, a human being by placing a rope around the neck of him the said Hulen Owens and dragging him on and over the streets of the city of Texarkana, Arkansas, thereby causing him the said Hulen Owens to choke and strangle to death and setting fire to and burning him the said Hulen Owens with the wilful, felonious, malicious premeditated and deliberate intent him the said Hulen Owens to kill and murder."
