.01 - Gold metal button. Debossed inscription reads "Confederate Veteran / Finitum est." The center of the button depicts a dismounted cannon on a hillside, beneath three stacked muskets. Located 13B, Bay 3, Shelf 1, Reunion Box 1
.02 - Typed paper explanation of the origin and use of the button. "Dallas, Texas, 1893." "The Confederate Veteran's Button." The reverse side of the paper is blank.
.03 - Envelope with hand-written inscription:
Confederate Button/Presented by/Dr. C.M. Taylor/To/John G. Fletcher./Aug 4/93" The envelope is blank, but has a printed return address "Return to/German National Bank,/of Little Rock, ARK.,/If not delivered within 5 days." The back of the envelope is discolored from moisture.
