Sleepy LaBeef, born Thomas Paulsley LaBeff, is an American rockabilly musician who was born in Smackover, Arkansas. He recorded singles and had hits in the 1950s and 1960s. He also starred in The Exotic Ones, a horror movie in the 1970s. In 2013, a documentary/concert DVD was released entitled “Sleepy LaBeef Rides Again”.
A Sleepy la Beef album entitled "Nothin' But the Truth". The album cover features a black and white photograph of la Beef seated on a backwards chair. His left hand is holding the neck of his guitar that is standing in it's case. The artists' name, album title, and "Recorded Live" are situated to the upper right corner of the album cover. "Nothin' But the Truth" was produced by Rounder Record Corporation in 1987.
