    DescriptionUnited Confederate Veteran Magazine featuring the 1898 assembly of the United Daughters of the Confederacy in Hot Springs, AR. The magazine, published in Nashville, Tenn., November, 1898, Vol. 6, No. 11, is composed of aged white paper, bound by two rusted staples. The front cover is brittle and tattered along the edges. The cover is printed in red ink with an image of an assembly of the U.D.C. on the front steps of the Arlington Hotel in Hot Springs. The woman are all dress in dark Victorian dress and hat, all centered around a bouquet at the front. The interior of the magazine is much more stable condition, printed in blank ink, with articles concerning the events of the Civil War and its veterans.
