    DescriptionNewspaper format document concerning Howard Reed Candidate for Governor of Arkansas. Opening Address Delivered at City Park Band Shell, Little Rock, July 2, 1936. To the right of the title is an image of Reed. The document is divided into sections that address the candidate's platform and opponents. His platform includes issues such as sales tax, better pensions for the elderly, state hospital, more money for highways, etc. The center pages are covered with cartoons promoting Reed and poking fun at his opponents. Reed's address is continued on the back page. The text ends with the statement "Anti-Sales Tax---Anti-State House." Below the end of the text is another cartoon.
