Description"Here Comes Mr. Louis Jordan Preachin' the Blues" songbook. The book's cover is red with Mr. Jordan pictured on the front preaching from a pulpit. Flames are ascending towards the pulpit. The back cover of the book is filled with advertisements from Leed's Music Corporation. The book is made up of 21 of Louis' favorites.

Louis Jordan was born July 8, 1908 in Brinkley, Arkansas. He was an African-American musician, singer and song writer. He briefly attended Arkansas Baptist College in Little Rock, majoring in music. Although he could play a variety of instruments, he was best known for his saxophone playing and was nicknamed "The King of the Jukebox." He appeared in and sang in a number of movies over the years. Jordan died February 4, 1975.
