DescriptionA yard sign used to promote Tim Hutchinson during his 1996 U.S. Senate campaign. The sign is rectangular, made of paper, features a blue background with red stripes, and white text which reads "Hutchinson" and "U.S. Senate". Campaign yard signs were designed to be placed on someone's property to show support for a political candidate.

Tim Hutchinson was born in Bentonville, Arkansas on August 11, 1949, and was raised near Gravette, Arkansas. He served in the Arkansas House of Representatives from 1985 until 1997, and as a United States Senator from 1997 until 2002. He is a member of the Republican Party and has a history of voting strongly conservative. He served on the Armed Services Committee, Aging Committee, Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee, and Veterans' Affairs Committee.
