Description1911 U.C.V. Reunion Postcard of Camp Shaver. The front image of the postcard is a black and white photograph depicting a group of tents gathered along both sides of a dirt road. At the bottom left of the original image "Camp Shaver Little Rock, Ark." The reverse of the postcard is stamped, postmarked, and filled out. The postcard was sent to Mr. R.L. Hardy in Monticello, AR. It was postmarked on May 20, 1911 at 1:00 pm in Little Rock. The message reads "Dear Mamma and Papa/We will be home Monday in the auto. I took the overland that we were riding on Thursday. I looked at all of the others before I decided on it and it looked the best of all for the money. It will be fully equipped. It is brand new."
