Henry C. Fallon was born March 17, 1840 in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. He enlisted as a private in the Confederate Army on July 25, 1861 at Pine Bluff, entering into the 9th Arkansas Infantry. He was initially appointed musician. He was elected to 2nd Lieutenant and then promoted to 1st Lieutenant in May, 1862. Fallon was then appointed adjutant and transferred to field and staff in June, 1864. At the end of the war, he transferred to 1st Arkansas Consolidated Mounted Rifles. After the war, he moved to Dallas, Texas. Henry Fallon died Dec. 13, 1934 in Dallas and is buried in Greenwood Cemetery there.
