DescriptionDesk used by Senator George Trevathan. Trevathan worked for the State Treasurer's Office in 1905. He went on to buy the Batesville Guard newspaper. He was elected Secretary of the State Senate for three consecutive terms (1907-1911). Trevathan died on May 6, 1917.
