    DescriptionAnne Roark Brough's white opera-length leather gloves with white stitching. Three-button closure at wrist is missing buttons. Left glove has a large brown stain on forearm.

    Anne Brough was the twenty-fifth First Lady of Arkansas, 1917-1921. During World War I, Anne served as an active Chairman for the Woman’s Auxiliary of State Council of Defense, the Red Cross's supply- making sessions and Liberty and Victory Loans. Anne also made appearances at Suffragette Rallies in support of the right for woman to vote in the United States.
