DescriptionHalf dime found by Jack Wiegel at the site of the Confederate Hospital near Marks Mill. The coin is made of a dark, tarnished metal with a circular hole pierced at the top of the coin. The front depicts a low relief image of a seated woman (Lady Liberty), "1861". The reverse of the coin shows a laurel wreath, at the center of which in raised lettering is the text "Half/Dime".
