Johnny Cash was born John R. Cash on February 26, 1932 in Kingsland, Arkansas and raised in Dyess, Arkansas. Nicknamed “The Man in Black”, he was a singer/songwriter, actor and author (writing two autobiographies). He acted in both movies and television (including his own variety show, The Johnny Cash Show). Cash died September 12, 2003.
A Johnny Cash album entitled "Greatest! Johnny Cash". The album cover features a black and white photograph of Johnny Cash set upon an orange and white background. "Greatest!" and "Johnny Cash" are set within colored blocks and a song list is positioned to the right.
