    DescriptionA "Kite" quilt block pattern fragment made by Herma Wilson Williams using the string method of piecing. The patterns consist of many cotton pieces in brown and white, blue and white, and green, rust, white, and green. The pattern has been cut from the front page of Marietta, Ohio's "Daily Times". The edges of the fabric are frayed and the paper is creased at the top and bottom.
