DescriptionAward plaque presented to Bob Hope by the University of Arkansas on the occasion of his visit to Barnhill Arena on November 10, 1979.The rectangular plaque is oriented vertically and has a metal plate screwed to the front. The plate has a metallic red border and features the word "ARKANSAS" across the top with a red razorback logo underneath. Below the logo is an inscription that reads: "President Carter: If you really wanted to win a lot of votes, you should have given away Texas and kept the Panama Canal!"
Toward the bottom is another inscription that reads: "Presented to, Bob Hope, on the occasion of your visit to the University of Arkansas Barnhill Arena, Fayetteville, Arkansas, November 10, 1979."
