DescriptionElizabeth Little's coat she wore during the inauguration of her husband, John Sebastian Little, as the twenty-first Governor of Arkansas. The coat is a three-quarter coat with a tubular silhouette, jewel neckline, and center opening. The sleeves are three-quarter bishop sleeves that are gathered at the arms and on the cuff. Black lace is set in a lattice design and trims the center front, hem, and cuffs in a scallop design. Four hooks are concealed on the front of the coat. The entire coat has a design that consists of a braid of varying sizes in a geometric design. All seams and shoulders are trimmed with the braid.

Elizabeth Jane Irwin Little was the twenty-first First Lady of Arkansas in 1907. She was born on April 3, 1861 and died on September 15, 1953.
