The front page has a circular picture of Winthrop Rockefeller leaning against a rock with a plaque on it. The front heading reads "This I Believe" and has Rockefeller's printed signature. The second, third, and fourth pages hold Win Rockefeller's sixteen items in his "Statement of Beliefs." These beliefs are no governor should serve more than 2 terms, wants honest elections, believes in better education, in favor of stronger law enforcement, the state needs fiscal integrity, employees of the state should not be intimidated by political pressures, in favor of effective political parties, government should care for those in need, must rehabilitate criminals, supports cultural and intellectual activities, must manage natural resources well, government is responsible to the people, state should ensure good jobs for its people, and positive leadership. The fourth page contains Rockefeller's printed name and signature and "Candidate for Governor."
