Tess Harper was born August 15, 1950 in Mammoth Springs, Arkansas. Harper is an actress who started out her acting career at Dogpatch U.S.A. Her first movie role was in “Tender Mercies” for which she received a Golden Globe nomination. She later received an Academy Award nomination for her work in the movie, “Crimes of the Heart.” She has appeared in over 30 movies.
