Description1/8 plate tintype of William S. Turner of Dobbins' Arkansas Cavalry. Listed as TURNER, W. S., - Pvt - Co K, age 20, b. AR, enlisted at Helena, paroled Wittsburg.

Not in its original case; housed in a 1/4 plate case. Brown leather case with two hooks. The image shows Turner sitting, a bowie knife in one hand and a double barrel shotgun in the other. He has supplies strapped across his chest. He is wearing what looks like a plaid shirt and a hat.

Turner was 15 or 16 years old when this photograph was taken.
