DescriptionColt AR-15 Rifle from the Arkansas Department of Correction. Found some information on that rifle. The “SP” prefix in the serial number means it is the Sporterized version, or the “Civilian Model.” The serial number indicates that it was manufactured in 1973. It is one of the first weapons purchased to field the ADC’s first SWAT team.
