DescriptionNovember 30, 1865, fifty dollar note from the Treasurer of St. Francis County, Madison, Arkansas. The printer was Culver, Page, Hoyne, & Co. Boolbinders & Stationers of Memphis, TN.It is a common design. Written on verso "Presented and not paid for want of funds, Dec. 23, 1865, C. Taylor, Treasurer of St. Francis County. Issued to John Nigrant for keeping poor home."
