DescriptionBlack dress. The bodice is a silk taffeta blouse with a stand-up collar, front pleats and embroidered net trim in the neck area. Long sleeves have fullness at wrists and have embroidered lace cuffs. Cotton lining closes with hook & eye at center front. Bodice buttons at the side front with neck hooks and ties. Back neck lappet extends over left shoulder to front, sewn down on right side. Lappets and wrist bands have embroidered decoration.

Wide black satin skirt with a slight train. Gores and two pleats at center back. Black glazed cotton lining attached to skirt at waistband. One inch black velvet dust band. Snap, hook & eye and tie closures at the center back. Mostly machine sewn.
